TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

• By submitting an application for membership, I acknowledge that I understand and agree that my acceptance and continuation as a member the NationWide Contractors’ Alliance (NWCA) is dependent upon agreement with the terms and conditions of membership, as set forth below:
• I agree to abide by the NWCA Code of Conduct and understand that my membership may be canceled at any time at the sole discretion of the NWCA officers if they conclude that my actions, conduct or statements are not consistent with that Code.
• I am entitled to access the specifically endorsed programs and services endorsed by the NWCA, but recognize that access does not guarantee acceptance by each individual member program or service provider. As a member, I may use any or none of the services as I see fit at additional cost above and beyond the NWCA membership dues.
• I promise not to share my user name and/or password information providing access to any NWCA systems or those of its member service providers. I also understand that the concepts and contents of the NWCA Learning Center and the Risk Management Evaluation Systems are the property of NWCA and are not to be shared or duplicated without the NWCA's written permission. I agree to the confidentiality and non-disclosure of this property and am subject to remedies up to and including membership termination should this be breached.
• I am entitled to communicate to the public that I am a member of the NWCA and abide by the Code of that organization. I may use logos, emblems and other evidence of membership provided by the NWCA in such manner as may be prescribed by the NWCA.
• I am entitled to participate in the NWCA Member Rewards Program in accordance with the published rules set forth for that program. I recognize that participation in the rewards program and claiming rewards are dependent upon maintaining my membership in good standing. I agree that the NWCA has the right to apply any reward amounts to my membership dues, if unpaid.
• I understand that the NWCA is a member services organization and not an association as commonly used in the building industry. I understand that I am not entitled to voting rights, ownership, or other “membership rights” other than access to information and/or to endorsed services.
• I understand that the NWCA is not in any way an insurance or other type of financial organization, but instead enables members to better access such organizations.
• I understand that the NWCA does not participate in any activity at any level involving politics or the development of government regulations.
• I give permission for information sharing between the NWCA and its endorsed service providers, such information to be used for the sole purpose of facilitating the extension of potential member benefits to myself and/or my company. My information shall not be knowingly sold or otherwise furnished to organizations outside the NWCA and its endorsed member services providers. All information shared is intended to benefit the membership in awareness of appropriate options available by way of the NWCA and its member service providers.
• I hold the NWCA and its member service providers harmless and indemnify them for any unintentional release or circulation of information described above or for any unproven allegation of intentional release or circulation of member information.
• I understand my membership can be canceled by me at any time for any reason and that dues are refunded on a pro-rata basis. This is subject to a minimum of $250.00 in the event my annual membership is canceled for any reason. I hold harmless and indemnify the NWCA for any damages, alleged or actual arising out of membership cancellation, regardless of circumstances.
• I understand the dues are in no way construed as an investment and are annually renewable.
• Lastly, I understand that the foregoing terms and conditions of my NWCA membership automatically apply upon renewal of my membership, including any modifications to these terms and conditions which have been posted on the NWCA website at www.nwcalliance.com/terms.htm and hence are available for my review.
